Bismark, North Dakota 6/28
We left South Long Lake about 10:30 this morning after a wonderful visit
with Tom and Carol. We were also pleased that Tim and Laura Shallbetter
and their twin sons were there as well.
A light rain was falling as we left and it continued to about the North Dakota border. The sky then became partly cloudy and the temperature got to the mid to upper 60's. We arrived in Bismark around 5:00 and made our way to the Bismark KOA. This is another very nice campground. Each site is wooded and private. Very unusual for a commercial campground.
We are headed to Medora, ND tomorrow. This is where the North Dakota Badlands are located. It is really called the Teddy Roosevelt National Park. More about that tomorrow.
